Church Notices    5th Sunday of Lent           13th March, 2016

1.Being the second Sunday of the month, a second collection will be taken today at all masses for the seminary fund.
2.Catholic Association Meeting will be held soon after the 9am mass today. CA members are requested to attend the meeting without fail.
3.Dear friends, on the feast day of St. Joseph (i.e. 19th March, Saturday) which is also the third anniversary of the Pontificate of Pope Francis, a thanksgiving Holy Eucharist will be celebrated at 6 pm in the Cathedral, presided over by His Excellency Archbishop Salvatore Pennacchio, the Apostolic Nuncio to India. We request all of you to be part of this celebration.
4.Dear friends, next Sunday we commence the Holy week with the celebration of Palm Sunday. The blessing of palms will take place at St. Columba’s School Grounds at 8.30am followed by a procession to the Church. Kindly note that we won’t have the English mass at 6.30am on this day. All the other masses will be offered as per the Sunday schedule.
5.The Annual Way of the Cross, at the Archdiocesan level, will be held on the Palm Sunday (i.e. 20th March, 2015) starting from St. Mary’s Church, Old Delhi to Sacred Heart Cathedral. The live, enacted Way of the Cross will begin at 2.30pm from St. Mary’s Church, Old Delhi. We encourage all our parishioners to participate in the Annual Way of the Cross.
6. Kindly note, the Holy Week Schedule is displayed on the Parish notice Board as well as in the parish website and parish bulletin ‘Cathedral Calling’. We have also come up with a brochure which gives you all the necessary information for the Holy week. Kindly take one copy each for a family as you walk out of the Church. 
7.Dear brothers and sisters, Chetanalaya, the social action wing of the Archdiocese of Delhi, is planning to build a Disability Resource Centre at Rohtak and the same will be dedicated in memory of the Jubilee year of mercy. In view of this, there is a request from His Grace Archbishop Anil Couto to all the faithful to do their almsgiving to support the construction of the centre for the disabled. Archbishop has requested every earning person to set apart at least Re. 1 per day which you can drop in a special box kept at the entrance on Sundays.
