CHURCH NOTICE - 17TH SUNDAY IN ORDINAARY TIME



1.  There will be a meeting of the Catholic Association soon after 9am Mass in English. All the members are requested to attend the meeting.


2.  Today there will be a short meeting for Altar Servers of SHC at Maria Bhavan Basement soon after 10:15 am Mass in Hindi.


3.  Students who have secured (70% and above marks in English Medium) and (60% and above in Hindi Medium) in the Board Examination (10th and 12th) during the academic year 2021-2022 requested to submit the copies of Mark Sheet along with a copy of the Church membership card latest by 3rd August 2022 at the help Desk. On 15th August, 2022 the students will be felicitated at Sacred Heart cathedral.


4.  The Universal Church celebrates the feast of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary on the 15th of August. We also celebrate the Independence Day on the same day. As you are well aware, it is a day of obligation. The mass timings of the day are as follows: 9.00am –English, 10.15- Hindi and 11.30 -English and 6.30 pm in English.  Kindly note, Masses at 6.30am and 4.30pm remain cancelled.


5.  We have resumed our Catechism Classes. We request all the parents to send your children for the Catechism Classes regularly.


6.  7th August we celebrate the Vianney Sunday. We will have the celebration and wishing of all the fathers at the 9 am mass. There will be a second collection for the welfare of the clergy.


7.  We appreciate St. Michael SCC unit for animating the Liturgy at 9:00 am Mass.


8.  We appreciate St. Monica’s SCC unit for animating the liturgy at 10.15 am Mass.


9.  Next Sunday St. Alphonse’s SCC unit will animate the 9:00 am liturgy.


10.  The Charitable Homeopathy Dispensary runs by the Society of St. Vincent De Paul at Maria Bhawan Basement is functioning now. The new timing of the Homeopathy Dispensary is 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on every Saturday. Dr. Aleyamma Varughese offers her services in running the Dispensary.
