1. Today, there will be an orientation programme for the Catholic Association of our parish at 11.30 am. We request all CA members to be present.
2. Nurses Day Celebration – On next Sunday 12th March we will be celebrating Nurses Day in our parish. A special mass will be offered during 10.15am mass and followed a small orientation programme at DCC hall. We request all the nurses of our parish to give your names to parish fathers.
3. Readers Association - Those who would like to read the mass readings kindly give your names and the mass which you attend to parish fathers. Accordingly, we will allot you the readings.
4. On Fridays of Lenten season, we have Stations of the Cross at 1.30 pm in bilingual, 5.00 pm in Hindi and at 6.30 pm in English. We request you to take part in this special Lenten devotion to experience God’s mercy and love. The Stations of the Cross are being organized by various SCC units of our parish. We request you to kindly follow the schedule which is given to you.
5. We also earnestly urge you to be generous in your contributions during the Lenten days as it will be used for the campaign against hunger and disease. Gullaks and envelopes are available; kindly take each for your family.
6. Lentern retreat is being organized at Burari Jeevan Jyothi Asharm from March 10-12. Registration fee is Rs-200/ only. For more details kindly look at the notice board.
7. Maha Kripa Satsng along with Lenten retreat will be organized on 17th March from 2.00pm to 6.00pm & 18th March from 10.00am to 6.00pm.at DCC hall.
8. There is a public notice from Delhi Christian Cemetery Committee that as the Grave Yards is full in Burari and Paharganj the old graves are being opened and the mortal remains are being shifted to the niches. For more details kindly look at the notice board.
9. Admission is opened for classes 6 to 8 St. Mary’s boys hostel at Rohtak. The entrance exam will be conducted on 5th March and 12th March at Yusaf Sadan from 2.00pm onwards.
10. Hindi Bibles costing Rs 200/- and Hymn book costing Rs 150 are available at the help desk.
11. A new book “Come I will give you rest” book costing RS 20/- is available for sale at the help desk. It is a help for adoration. Also books on “Way of the Cross” are available for sale.
12. Br. Vijay Benedict, a renowned Gospel singer will be conducting the “Lenten Gospel Concert 2023” on Tuesday, 14th March from 7.00 pm to 9.00pm at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Those who would like to participate kindly give your names in Help Desk before 7th March to get free passes.
13. We would like to remind you that the hymn books and other prayers books in the church is property of the church and we request you kindly keep them back after their use.
14. Next Sunday there will be a second collection for Seminary Fund.
