CHURCH NOTICE - 29TH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME - 22.10.2023

1. Today there will be a second collection for the World Mission Sunday. 22nd October 2023 


2. Mission Sunday Calendars are available for Rs.20/-. Kindly collect a calendar each for your family along with Mission Sunday envelopes. There are also food and other stalls available outside the church. Kindly consider buying something from there to contribute to the mission. 


3. Today the federation of Catholic Association of the Archdiocese of Delhi, in collaboration with the Delhi Election Commission office is organizing a Voter ID Campaign, from 10am to 4pm at Diocesan Community Centre. Required documents include one passport size photo, Aadhar card, and Electricity bill or allotment letter. 


4. All those who have not registered in the parish kindly do so and also update your church support fund regularly. 


5. We request all the catechism children to come for 9.00 am English mass and thereafter attend catechism classes at St. Columba’s school. Parents kindly encourage your children to attend these classes regularly. 


6. Those who would like to sponsor refreshments for the catechism children may kindly contact the Parish Help Desk. 


7. Youth united for Christ is hosting National Youth Residential Convention, entitled “Move the Mountain” from 11th November to 13th November. For further details kindly refer the parish notice board. 


8. Tribal commission of the Archdiocese of Delhi, requests your presence for the Holy Mass and memorial service of late Emeritus Cardinal Telesphore Toppo on 24th October at 11.00 am in Good Shepherd Church, Hauz Khas. 


9. The Diocesan Community Centre Library has achieved a landmark of 5o years of its existence. Golden Jubilee celebration is being organized on 29th October from 4.30 pm to 6:30 pm. at DCC Hall. 


10. On the 2nd of November, we will be celebrating All Souls' Day. There will be Mass and the blessing of the graves at Paharganj Cemetery at 4:00 pm and at Khan Market Cemetery at 4:00 pm. and Burari Cemetery at 4.00pm. 


11. This is to let you know that newly ordained Fr. Rajan Sandhu will be celebrating this first Holy Mass in our parish on 29 October at 9am and at 10:15 am. 


12. 1 st of November onward we follow winter mass timing: Kindly note down the changes:-
